Rooms
The Duke’s Marquee
Available annually from April until September
The Duke’s marquee is situated to the rear of our beautiful gardens
with its own lawn to both the front and rear of the marquee. The gardens
are overlooked through the elegant Georgian French doors which may be
opened on a glorious day. On a cooler day there is thermostatically controlled
heating for your comfort. There is a full bar service within the marquee,
and toilet facilities and extra car parking are to the rear of the marquee.
Upon entering the marquee you are immediately captured by a celebratory
atmosphere. The Marquee is lined with delicate light fabric with contrasting
pelmets and drapes. For the evening reception we offer a covered walkway
to a cosy lounge for those members of the family wishing to chat about
old times.
The Marquee can seat up to 120 guests for your wedding luncheon, and for
your evening reception you can invite a further 30 guests.
The Garden Room
The Garden Room is a delightful, bright and spacious conservatory with
beautiful views over our walled gardens, providing the perfect venue for
weddings held in Spring, Autumn, and Winter. This room can cater for up
to 80 guests for your wedding luncheon, with up to 150 for the evening
reception, in conjunction with exclusive use of the house. We would also
recommend the Garden Room in the summer for smaller, intimate wedding
receptions, allowing you to dine in comfort and enjoy the surroundings
as you celebarate your day.
The Cottage Suite
The Cottage Suite is ideal for intimate weddings, with catering available
for up to 30 guests. The room has french doors onto its own patio area
and views over our beautiful gardens.
| Civil Ceremonies
We are delighted to inform you that we have a licence to hold civil wedding ceremonies. We offer a choice of two elegant rooms to hold your wedding ceremony, and are pleased to provide a floral pedestal arrangement and a floral table arrangement in creams & greens to compliment both the ceremony and reception room. The Cottage Suite An intimate marriage room, with its own patio area for guests. Capacity for up to 60 guests. The Garden Room A large conservatory overlooking our beautiful gardens with its own patio area. Capacity for up to 120 guests.
