About

We took over the Mill House in March 1994 with other family members. When we came to view the hotel we immediately fell in love with the period features and the atmosphere of the 19th century building. The gardens were outstanding and sitting just beside a river made it very idealic.

Coming from corporate hotel backgrounds we thought how great it would be to run weddings at the Mill House where we would be able to offer exclusive use of the facility so that the bride & groom and their families and friends would be our only priority and we could personally ensure that they had a fantastic day.

We also wanted to make it a friendly hotel for regular travellers who would welcome a friendly face at the end of a long day away from home. Sitting at the bar having a chat and unwinding whilst looking at the menu for some seasonal freshly prepared homemade food all helps add to an enjoyable stay.
